Youth are both the present and the future of our Church, yet so many young people are walking away when they need community most. By joining our team, you will take on a vital personal mission—inspired by Saint Carlo Acutis—to draw youth back to faith, gain invaluable leadership experience for college and service hours, and receive direct mentorship from our current team.
What it Means to Be a Leader
Being a youth leader with us means taking an active role in building up our community and sharing your faith. Whether you are working directly with peers or driving our mission behind the scenes, you will gain hands-on experience while serving others.
Key Details & Expectations
- Age Requirements: Open to youth ages 11–18. Adults are welcome and must be VIRTUS-trained.
- Time Commitment: Plan for about 1 hour per day toward your tasks, with flexible scheduling for family and busy weeks, plus periodic break weeks.
- Weekly Workflow: Specific assignment lists are sent out every Saturday so you know exactly what to focus on.
- Role Types: Positions range from direct youth engagement to essential behind-the-scenes support.
- Onboarding & Training: New leaders attend a flexible 1-on-1 Google Meet orientation to walk through responsibilities and answer questions.
- Skill Growth: Focus on developing public speaking, team building, and leadership skills in a prayerful, motivating, high-energy environment.

- Director of Outreach: Oversees the entire department, guides overall strategy, and manages the directors within the department.
- YouTube Outreach Director: Leads YouTube video strategy, creates engaging titles and descriptions, and manages community comments to build an audience.
- Email Outreach Director: Designs and sends out newsletters, updates, and direct email communications to keep youth and families connected.
- Print and Parish Outreach Director: Focuses on parish engagement nationwide by creating digital flyers, bulletin inserts, and posters that members across the country can print and distribute to their local parishes and schools.
- Peer Outreach Director: Focuses on direct word-of-mouth outreach, inviting peers, welcoming new faces, and building personal connections.
