Steps to Start a Chapter

• Step 1 – Discerning the Call: Spend some time in prayer over the next week to discern if launching a local small group or chapter is right for your parish, school, or diocese. Consider the needs of your local youth and families, and ask the Holy Spirit for Wisdom as you take this initial step.
• Step 2 – Consult Your Leadership and Family: Share your vision with key supporters. If you are a youth, talk to your parents about this opportunity. If you are a parish staff or DRE, bring the plan to your pastor for guidance. If you are a priest or deacon, seek input and interest from your parish youth families.
• Step 3 – Build Your Core Team: Assemble a core group of 2-3 adults or youth leaders alongside roughly 5 passionate youth to help organize and drive the effort forward.
